This year’s Swing on the Square will be a whole weekend of live music and fun for the entire family! It’s the 26th year of the festival, and will be held April 12-15th in the beautiful historic downtown of San Marcos, TX!
All of the venues will be downtown, and all the events will be in walking distance from one another. There will be 4 days of live music, so that give you plenty of time to jam out at shows whenever you can! This year there will even be a costume contest for best look-a-like of Dolly Parton, so get creative and dress up!
Aside from the costume contest, Saturday will also consist of an Art and Farmer’s Market on San Antonio Street. If you happen to miss it, Buzzmill will also be hosting an Inclusion arts market featuring local artists, live demonstartions and Homies with Scales.

Downtown will be in full swing, this is something you don’t want to miss! See y’all there!
Below is a photo essay by Chris Harris covering Buzzmill during Downtown Swing:
The Haberdashers mix a bit of funky blues, indie, and soul to entertain. Live music was just one thing you could see at Buzzmill during Downtown Swing.
Enjoying cold brew coffee and live music is how Buzzmill intended this Sunday to be spent.
If you follow the lights to the front patio, you will find the art market.
There was no shortage of handmade or local items to shop at this quaint art market.
The Reptile Guys even brought out their reptilian friends for anybody attending to enjoy!
