RISE Annual Benefit Concert

The Wood Street Band played a mixed bag of covers and original songs for RISE’s annual fundraising concert at the Root Cellar Bakery on April 21. RISE held the concert in an effort to raise money for the RISE retreat, a small summer camp for incoming freshman, which plugs students into ministries on campus.

RISE was selling two kinds of t-shirts for the event. Grey shirts were $17 and blue shirts were $10. All proceeds go towards funding the RISE summer retreat.

The venue was packed throughout the evening and guests saw themselves conversing outside, buying t-shirts for RISE, or cooling off from the warmness inside Root Cellar.
