San Marcos, TEXAS – Adaptation is happening everywhere all around and offices are no different. Assistant general manager at Dakota Ranch Apartments, Bethany Balderas, explains some changes that the team at the complex has had to undergo.
Due to Covid-19, changes in student housing have been made not only in the office, but how we reach people outside of our residential traffic. The push for social media marketing has become stronger than ever before due to a digital based approach of leasing. Dakota Ranch has worked to attract new followers while still interacting with the followers that we have had. Using mainly Instagram and Twitter has made it relatively easier to track our progress of traffic around our property and spike viewers interests.
In order to get engagement through our page, we’ve gone live and given away gift cards for each viewer.
We wanted all the viewers we could get on our Instagram live so we promoted it everywhere!
Andrea, a leasing agent at Dakota Ranch Apts. made cookies in a mug for tutorial Tuesday!
We are waiting for all of our residents to be able to come back in the office and grab some coffee!
We provide food for residents when the office is open, and we don’t want them to forget that!
Twitter is a platform that doesn’t always have to ask for something. It’s important to just engage with followers and have a funny side.
During Covid-19, it is important to have our audience engaged in posts and carry a conversation when we can.
For Earth Day, it was important to show that we can still get out and enjoy the environment around us even though we can’t all be together during Covid-19
The property may not be open for people to come tour, but we are available for virtual tours and we highlight things like our furniture package through socials.
Even though amenities are closed, it’s still important for us to show our followers what the property provides.
