A Night of Poetry Featured on The Texas State University Campus

Tell Me This Didn’t Happen: Poems on Truth — a poetry reading presented by faculty from the School of English, hosted in the Honors College and produced by the Common Experience. Truth is the Common Experience theme for the 2019/2020 school year, the readings portrayed the authors personal truth.

Our first reading was from Steve Wilson, reading from his self published book “Is this forever, or what” He read five poems from various other publications of his own work as well

Cecily Parks reading “The Indiana Bats” which is poem she wrote about endangered bats for a wildlife preservation society
Naomi Nye read poems written by a young girl in the war stricken lands of Syria “The Tiny Journalist”
Rodger Jones read poems that he wrote early in grad school about his childhood memories
