Life during a pandemic is a surreal experience. If you are reading this, then you understand as you are also currently alive for a pandemic. To me, it is interesting how we as a globe get to experience this together yet also so separate. Though we may have a global solidarity in anxiety, loss, hope, and uncertainty – the cultures, governments and lives we experience this pandemic in differ greatly. That is what inspired me to reach out to family across the water in Nancy, France to get a glimpse of what quarantine looks like for them.
