On Oct. 7, 2026, hundreds gathered outside the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas as President Donald Trump and Attorney General Ken Paxton hosted a campaign rally for the November mid-term elections. Outside the arena, local activists, counter-protesters and community members turned out to make their voices heard on the current immigration enforcement and policies. As the sun started to set, the atmosphere among the barricades transformed into a tense stand-off between protestors, rally attendees and law enforcement officers.
