On Saturday, April 27th, Texas State students gathered together for THE FYG U Music and Tech Festival, a one day festival located at Strahan Coliseum.
The grounds were filled with carnival games, food and other activities for all students. While some were enjoying the carnival games, others were set on winning the Super Smash Bros tournament, with a grand prize of $200.
The headliner for this performance was none other than LA-based producer Alison Wonderland. As well as performances from Danileigh, Nightly and Malachi.
There was never a dull moment when Alison took the stage. The crowd engagement was phenomenal. You from front to back, hands swinging right to left. Every song got the crowd moving.
From throwing her shoes off in the middle of her set; to even mentioning that had she attended college, she would go to Texas State. She loved the crowd and the crowd loved her.
“I’m kind of bummed i’m not getting laid tonight.”
The crowd erupted.
But all good things have to come to an end. And even as the students wattled out of the grounds, it was an event that students will remember.
