Automotive services have been declared “essential services” during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Port Lavaca Ford dealership is taking steps to ensure the safety of their employees and customers while they provide that essential service.
Luke Bodie, the Sales Manager at Port Lavaca Ford, provided detailed insight into the actions being taken by the dealership to keep everyone who enters their facility safe while there.
The dealership is following CDC guidelines by practicing social distancing, sanitizing everything inside the store every two hours and sanitizing all vehicles when they’ve been used. Bodie said the service department is picking up and delivering vehicles that need repairs and maintenance as well.
Port Lavaca Ford is looking forward to continuing to serve their customers during and after this pandemic while also still providing their employees with a stable income during these uncertain times.
