I got to speak with Dr. Zeda Amaya on what its like working in the medical field during a crisis like this as well as what its like working in a county with several confirmed cases of Covid-19. To date, Matagorda County has 39 confirmed cases with 2 deaths as a result of Covid-19. Dr. Amaya has been a pediatrician for over 25 years, located in Bay City, Texas she is dealing with this situation the best way she can. She owns her own practice called Playhouse Pediatrics and has had to change the ways in which she interacts with patients.
