Ferrari owners showcase their cars at Cars, Coffee & Croissants outside Mozart’s Coffee Roasters at Oyster Landing in Austin. The car show took place the morning of Saturday, April 1, 2023 and was the first of several events showcasing different car brands over a series of weeks.
Coffee, Cars and Croissants is a social event hosted periodically at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters, on Lake Austin. Ferraris filled the Oyster Landing parking lot for the first event of the 2023 season, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 1. More than a dozen of the Italian exotics, from the 1960s to late model, lined both sides of the lot in front of Mozart’s as coffee shop employees walked croissants, pastries and coffee up to a tent in the parking lot. While there were signs reminding visitors to not touch the cars, people were able to get very close and even lean in through open windows for a look. Folks who arrived early – before the official 9 a.m. start – were treated to a steady half hour of the sound of Ferraris as the rolled down Lake Austin Boulevard and into Oyster Landing.
Porsches are next on the Coffee, Cars and Croissants calendar, set for Sunday, April 30. Reservations are required through EventBrite. That morning’s event includes live music from Shadow Band.
