Here is one of my favorite pieces of art that I came across, I liked that the cat is standing like a human and wearing clothes.
There is a contrast between the trashcan and the flowers blooming out of the trashcan that I thought was intriguing.
These flowers represent the movement to “Petal it Forward” in San Marcos, a floral promotion.
Here you can see a mural that is a tribute to Victor Holk, a man who got caught in a home fire and could not escape.
I was surprised to see how many doors had graffiti on them, and this was my favorite that I found.
This is part of a 60 foot mural located in the alley between Stinky Dawg and CCI Computer Services. This mural by David Viejo Perez is based on the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas.
This is the only true “graffiti” that I saw on the Square. There are mostly murals throughout the Square.
The Root Cellar Bakery and the City of San Marcos partnered up in 2016 to dedicate a mural to embody the San Marcos river.
These little skeletons were part of the same mural with Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The whole mural was about 60 feet long, with all of the characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
