Dr. Khoi Nguyen, Emerging Technology Supervisor, and his dedicated team are working to ensure that veterans at Texas State University have a place to belong and a platform to share their stories through the Journal of Interactive Veteran Experiences (JIVE). This innovative journal gives veterans like Joshua Colliluori the opportunity to publish both scholarly articles and creative works—including poetry, artwork, and audio recordings. With the use of sculptures, projectors, and immersive technology, the team hopes to bring the journal to life in an exhibit on the first floor of the Alkek Library. The installation, a cross-departmental collaboration, is planned to open in Fall 2027.
