It’s been a while since I’d last seen the 1975, but the time was slowly coming once again. I was more than ready to see them perform on their upcoming US tour, which opened with a concert date on November 16th in New Jersey. This trip came to mind as my story pitch, as I’ve always had an interest in music reporting, so I thought what better way to do that than to fly across the country to see my favorite band? I thought creating a poster for the concert would be a creative idea since I really wanted to express the colors that their shows present. Canva had a great selection of templates that worked perfectly with the band’s aesthetic as well.
My next expected road trip will be to see their New Orleans show on Nov. 25th.
