‘Tis the Season for Christmas Lights in Austin

Photo essay by Alena Leseten

Each year from Thanksgiving until the beginning of January Austinites gather on the patio outside of Mozart’s Coffee Roasters to stare in awe at their annual Christmas light show set to music.
Valerie Kernes enjoyed the “Frozen” part of the light show while sipping  on her hot cocoa.
The entire patio area of the coffee shop is decked out in Christmas lights making it a great place to get into the holiday spirit.
The presents dangling from a tree over the water at Mozart’s adds to the fun vibe of this local Austin coffee shop.
This is the main Christmas light attraction at Mozart’s. The light show plays every night from 6 p.m. to close at the top of every hour.
Mozart’s during the holiday season is a fun place to grab hot cocoa and dessert with family and friends.
