This year Eeyore’s Birthday Party will be taking place on Saturday, April 28th in Austin Texas at Pease District Park. The event will kick off at 11 a.m. and will feature live performances by the following bands, Barton Hills Choir, Fun Bunch, World Gone Mad, Day Eater, Danger Cakes, Miss Guilty, Rickshaw Billy’s, Tusk Her, Big Bill.
Eeyore’s Birthday Party is a fund-raiser hosted by the Friends of the Forest Foundation, in hopes to benefit local 501c3 non-profit groups in Austin, Texas. All participating vendors at the festival are 501c3 non-profit organizations. If you find yourself at the celebration, donations and help from volunteers are always much appreciated!
Dress up as your favorite character or in festival costume and head out to the park to join in the celebration for the 55th year of Eeyore’s Birthday Party! Get creative and we’ll see you out there!

Eeyore’s birthday began in 1963 when a group of friends decided to throw a Spring picnic in honor of Eeyore. This now the 55th annual celebration inviting people to be themselves and have a good time.
Festivities always occur on the last Saturday of every April. Starting at 11 am, you can expect to party until dawn.
Hula hooper, Misti Delson, has celebrated Eeyore’s Birthday for the past 5 years. She enjoys the free-spirited atmosphere.
Here at Eeyore’s birthday, costumes are encouraged for all guests! There will be costume contests and prizes for everyone.
